About the Platform

Synopsis

A Diverse CSR Platform Providing Safety and Security to the World

Locking our doors, first aid kits, an education, and fresh food are all things we tend to take for granted in the United States. But what we consider to be the most basic necessities are usually unattainable for many in Third World countries. As humans, we all long for a sense of safety and security. We strive to protect our families and our aspirations. We plant trees and conserve natural resources to leave a sustainable, more abundant world for our children. Safety is so vital to our ways of life that the United Nations even recognized it by adopting a Universal Declaration of Human Rights in 1948 that says everyone has the right to live, to be free, and to feel safe. Yet so many do not have the means to provide the most basic safety for their families.

As a forward thinking creative services studio, we’re always looking for ways to put our video and storytelling talents to use. We look for stories to help our audiences grow. Stories about other cultures and experiences to broaden our perspectives. As we became more aware of the challenges so many face to secure a safe and sustainable lifestyle and the growing parallel between the technologically advanced Western countries and the primitive technologies available abroad, we decided we must tell these stories. After much thought and consideration, the result was the creation of a humanitarian corporate social responsibility (CSR) project called Our Safer World. Designed as a multi-part series, Our Safer World allows us to tell the unique stories of people from all parts of the world. We learn about their lifestyles, their families, and their challenges. We help them establish even the smallest means of safety and sustainability in their lives. It might not seem significant, but what seems like very little to us goes a long way in a Third World country.

Sponsorship Information

Helping a Cause

By using a CSR platform, we are able to partner with corporations to make the world a safe and sustainable place that will benefit future generations. Many corporations are aware of their good fortunes and are looking for ways to give back but do not know where to begin. They’re becoming more aware of the responsibilities they have to their employees, customers, and communities - both local and worldwide. With CSRs like Our Safer World, corporations are able to engage while helping people in need. Through philanthropy and volunteering, those who engage with CSR projects are able to foster trust, good will, and loyalty.

1. What is the cost of becoming a sponsor?

Sponsorship opportunities are available for organizations of all sizes and budgets. Sponsors are able to exclusively sponsor a CSR project or become a joint sponsor with other corporations. Because each project is unique, we strive to work with every sponsor to make the CSR project a success.

2. How are funds raised from sponsorships allocated?

All funds, materials, donations, etc. are used for the sole purposes of the intended contributions. All fund allocations and purchases are made at the discretion of Our Safer World, Venture6, and/or any freelance employees working on the project.

3. If I become a sponsor, are my donations only used for security-related items and services?

No. Every CSR project is different and donations vary greatly for each project. It is our priority to use contributions ways that are meaningful and accommodate our sponsors’ goals for the project. Although one of the main objectives of Our Safer World is making the world a safer place, there are many ways in which a CSR project can be completed that promotes community service and sustainability.

4. Am I or an employee from my company required to travel to participate?

No. A representative from your company does not need to be present to participate in an Our Safer World CSR project. If you choose to not participate in the filming, your company’s name, logos, etc. will be featured prominently throughout the video; however, by participating in the filming you will have a greater opportunity to represent your company.

5. How do you choose your projects?

Our Safer World CSR projects are selected based on a series of factors including location availability, prior connections, and recipient needs.Projects/locations are also selected based on the needs of our sponsors. Our team will make every effort to fulfill a sponsor’s request.

6. Do I own the video if I become a sponsor?

Depending on the level of sponsorship, you will completely own rights to the film or will be featured with one or more companies in a film owned by Venture6 (if you choose to share sponsorship). If you do not own the video, you will still be featured prominently and you will have viewer access to the video.

What is CSR?

From Investopedia:

Corporate social responsibility, often abbreviated "CSR," is a corporation's initiatives to assess and take responsibility for the company's effects on environmental and social wellbeing. The term generally applies to efforts that go beyond what may be required by regulators or environmental protection groups.

CSR may also be referred to as "corporate citizenship" and can involve incurring short-term costs that do not provide an immediate financial benefit to the company, but instead promote positive social and environmental change.
